Based in Pulborough, we aim to conserve the landscape of the South Downs and are an entirely independent charity. We help our members, along A group who volunteer on behalf of the National with their families, to enjoy the South Downs and Trust, founded in 1988. Our first work party was run over 200 walks annually across the South Downs National Park. We offer a local discount held at Highdown Hill near Worthing after the great storm of 1987. We have grown in stature scheme and organise many day excursions to places of interest. Single membership is and have a core group of volunteers but would like to recruit more to help. We mainly carry out £25 a year and we send a regular newsletter with updates on our work which includes our work on alternate Sundays with the occasional comprehensive walks programme. Saturday and also weekend tasks, once or twice a year. For all responsible dog owners who want a pet they can take anywhere in any situation. Established for over forty years and all classes are run by experienced instructors. We welcome all dogs, all breeds and cross breeds of all ages (from puppies to advanced training level). We organise the Good Citizen Test at bronze, silver & gold levels. Our shows include Heelwork to Music at West Chiltington Village Hall.

We are a friendly group with membership open to anyone, beginner or experienced, interested in model railways, either building, running or just talking trains. Each week there is our large dual gauge OO and N layout available for members to use. Currently under construction, an exhibition standard N and also a new OO layout.
