Distilled on the outskirts of Brora. The unique character of Clynelish owes much to its location and surrounding environment, but more to the skills of those who make it.

Distilled at the foot of Ben Nevis, the UK’s tallest mountain. Ben Nevis is the mountain where the water used to make this malt originates.

Distilled close to Tain where the air is said to be the purist in Scotland. Sweet to start with an appetising citrus tinge and a slightly peaty note as it slides over the back of the tongue.

This distillery was founded in 1826 but mothballed in 1996 until 2002. this is partly used in the Teachers blend.

Distilled on the banks of the Dornoch Firth close to Tain. A French perfume house identified 26 aromas which included almond, bergamot, cinnamon, verbena, vanilla and wild mint.

In whisky terms this is a young distillery being built in 1962. this malt is mainly used in the William Lawson blend.

Glengoyne distillery captures the essence of the soft air and cool Glengoyne stream that flows into Loch Lomond to make this elegant malt.

A small distillery at Brechin was founded in 1825. the water is piped for 30 miles from Loch Lee. Most of this malt has made its way into the blend called cream of the barley.
