Energy and water company hardship program contact numbers Energy Hardship Contact points In the work of St Vincent de Paul Society, we often come across people who are experiencing difficulty paying their electricity and gas bills. A simple way for you to help is to give the utility provider a call and let them know what the situation is. All utility provides are required to have a hardship program that is designed to give specialised assistance to households struggling with there utility bills. Below is a list of phone numbers for the various utility companies. Please remember that you can only call on behalf of another person if you have that person with you at the time of the call, or that person have given the utility prior authorisation for you to speak to them.
