Margaret House is a respite care service for people with an intellectual disability. The service is located in a residential house and caters for up to 6 clients that have varying skills and interests. Clients are provided with recreational activities which include community access activities. Margaret House Respire Care Services 78 Coonong Rd Gymea NSW 2227

Margaret House Respite Care Services is seeking a volunteer to assist with some gardening, 3 hours per month. The gardener will assist with maintaining the compound using simple garden tools. Tasks will include raking, sweeping and other therapeutic garden tasks. This role is fun and light as it does not include mowing.

Approximately 3 hours per month. The day and time is flexible and will be arranged to suit both parties

Manual handling Orientation to the St Vincent de Paul Society Specific training for role (if required)
