The Society also provides a voice on social justice issues and actively advocates on behalf of people who are in need, marginalised and disadvantaged in our society. Our services... Much of the Society's work is organised through local conferences, whose members visit people in their homes providing material assistance, support as well as friendship. Professional services are also provided to people in the areas of: aged care, homelessness, outreach services, family violence support, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, supported employment options and health services. supporting the St Vincent de Paul Society? Residents and businesses in the Wantirna, Knox and Croydon areas can cardboard. This initiative will assist the work of the St Vincent de Paul Society by raising much-needed funds for food hampers which are delivered to people in need while also caring for the environment and, in some cases, reducing costs to business. Each month all newspapers, magazines, catalogues and cardboard will be collected from the nominated location and transported to a recycling company. 100% of the funds received will be donated to the St Vincent de Paul Society.
