VINNIES FREMANTLE OPENING SUNDAYS The well known and much loved Fremantle Vinnies Retro Centre located at Shop 2/142 High Street is opening on Sunday’s from 21 March 2010 - a first for Vinnies. New Sunday Trading Laws now allow the Centre to open from 11am – 5pm on Sunday’s giving Retro enthusiasts an extra opportunity to find something a little bit funky and eccentric for the wardrobe.
Centre Manager, Trish Bradshaw has been working with Vinnies for eight years and thinks the extended trading hours will be successful.
“We are very excited to be opening on a Sunday and hope to see some of our regular customers as well as some new Retro lovers and admirers take advantage of the new opening hours. Vinnies Fremantle has an outstanding range of retro and vintage items on offer and I’m sure we have something to suit everyone,” Trish says.
Vinnies Fremantle opened its doors in 1997 and is suitably located in the community providing unique well priced clothing, jewellery, books, accessories and bric-a-brac. The Centre also provides opportunities for volunteering and encourages anyone with a flair and passion for fashion to contact the Society on (08) 9475 5491 today.
The Vinnies Retail Centres are an integral part of the Society’s work in the community and although the Centre in Fremantle does not provide welfare assistance to people in need, revenue from the sale of quality items is directed to supporting the Society’s services.
Vinnies is urging customers to take advantage of the extra opening hours by visiting the Centre when it opens on Sunday 21 March.
