CERTIFICATION Certification by conformity assessment bodies (certification bodies, inspection bodies) is a legal precondition in many fields in Europe. Accreditation, certification, inspection and testing are basic instruments to overcome technical barriers to trade.

Undertaken on producer‘s request, Producer bears the cost, Conducted before placing the product on the market Conducted by competent authority and/or control body
RISK ASSESSMENT? Producers are controled yearly and not on the basis of the risk.
CERTIFICATE The certification body shall provide the client with formal certification documentation named „CERTIFICATE“ that indicates the following: a) The name and address of the certification body; b) The date certification is granted; c) The name and address of the certificate holder; d) The scope of certification (specification); e) The competent authority that carried out the registration of specification f) The expiry date of certification; g) The signature or other defined authorization of the responsible person; h) The accreditation body; i) indication of the public appointment.
