AREAS OF STUDY

At SVSU, you aren’t lost in the audience of a giant lecture hall — you work alongside faculty across our five colleges who include you in their work and seek out experiences to help you grow. SVSU students on the Cardinal Formula Racing team are designing, building and racing Indy-style race cars to compete in the most prestigious student design competition in the world, Formula SAE, in nine international events and with more than 300 student-led teams worldwide. The 2019 team cemented SVSU’s record for having the highest finish among exclusively undergraduate programs in the world for five years in a row!
