After taking coaching, do you know why some can’t pass the exam? They make some silly mistakes in the exam in a hurry. So there are a number of things that you should keep in mind, to avoid them. 1. Poor time management: The JEE Main candidates must distribute their stipulated time properly among each section in order to avoid leaving easy questions unanswered due to lack of time. While writing answers, you must be assured that you are not spending more time than required for any question or section. 2. Not reading the questions properly: Before beginning to solve the question paper, the students need to read the questions properly. After reading the questions carefully, try to understand what information is given and what is asked. The exam pattern of JEE Main has been changed this year. Therefore, candidates must use the

optional questions wisely to help them increase the JEE Main scores. Before attempting the question, aspirants must properly understand the choices in the paper. 3. Answering questions in a hurry: Sometimes, the students find similar questions in the actual paper, same as in the JEE Main sample papers through which they have prepared from or by following the Tricks for preparing in jee their training institute had given. But you must be careful as the questions in the JEE question paper may be asked differently. Therefore, the candidates need to understand the question and only then answer it thoroughly. 4. Unawareness of syllabus or exam pattern: While taking preparation for the exam, many students forget to check the exam pattern of JEE properly. So they must follow the website of NTA as they have released the exam pattern and syllabus on its website nta.nic.in. So the students must read the exam pattern and syllabus to understand each section and its importance. 5. Taking the JEE exam casually on the first attempt: The exam of JEE will be held four times. So there is ample opportunity for the students to clear the national-level entrance exam. However, they must not take the first attempt lightly, thinking to cover up in the next attempts. The May attempt may fall as it is in between the CBSE board exams, and the March and April exams may be punctuated due to some reasons, but try attempting to clear the JEE exam paper in the February session itself. 6.
