2025 TAX AIDE
Volunteers needed. The local AARP Tax Aide program is looking for volunteer Tax Counselors for the upcoming tax season. Tax Counselors assist taxpayers by preparing and filing tax returns. Extensive training and support will assist you in learning new skills and providing an important service. Last year volunteers filed returns for over 250 taxpayers in the Ridgecrest area. The local service is part of the national AARP program. Training will being in December. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage. Students may earn college credit.
