Architecture holds a pivotal role in people’s lives, serving as a crucial point that influences their journey, whether directly or indirectly. It has the power to offer guidance, shape futures, inspire, or instill apprehension. This artistic discipline wields significant influence.
I emphasize the importance of engaging those we design for and also collaborate with the team, workers in the process of space creation. Moreover, I advocate for environmentally sustainable and inclusive design practices, ensuring that our architectural endeavors resonate with diverse communities and uphold environmental integrity. I eagerly anticipate broadening my horizons through collaboration and work in diverse fields.I also believe that novelty crafted with traditional and cultural sensibility proves to be valuable and practical.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION CENTRE
The developed land in Navi Mumbai is situated between two ecologically significant areas: the hill slopes of Parsik and the coasts alongside Thane Creek. Navi Mumbai boasts a creek line spanning 150 km, encompassing various water bodies and mud flats that harbor diverse flora and fauna. This particular site is nestled within one of these developable areas, surrounded by numerous gaothans (villages). The Environmental Centre serves as a bridge between the local community and the ecological systems, facilitating interaction between gaothan residents and other visitors to enhance awareness and promote conservation efforts. The design focuses on creating spaces where people can appreciate and understand the importance of preserving the ecology, particularly mangroves and associated flora and fauna. These spaces are intricately connected to the surroundings and are designed to engage all five senses, enriching the human experience while navigating through them.

TOILET
The thesis explores the symbiotic evolution of food and shelter from ancient societies to globalization, highlighting the loss of indigenous food culture. It suggests creating spaces to promote these practices, fostering cultural preservation and identity through experiential learning and institutional support.

This elective aimed to map the city through its rich cuisine and gastronomical habits. It looks forward to weave out various communities and their food which forms a major cultural stock in the city. What becomes important is to understand how architecture responds to the idea of gastronomy, community and its institutions.
