NIOS Admission 2019 | Check NIOS Admission for Class 10th and Class 12th Here NIOS Admission 2019: National Institute of Open Schooling which is also known as National Open School is one of the largest National Board of Secondary Education in India. The dates for the NIOS Admission for the academic year 2019-20 have been declared. The online admission form for NIOS admission has been also released. Those students who are interested in this exam and seek to fill the admission in classes 10th and 12th can fill this through online before or on the last date. Usually, the candidates who are seeking admission in stream 1 of block 1 and block 2 apply for NIOS exams. The national institute of open schooling (NIOS) conducts this exam twice in a year. This exam usually happens in April/May and October/November. The online stream for admission is now open for new learners in April examination. Along with this, last dates October 2020 are also given below. There are some eligibility criteria at secondary as well as the higher secondary level for NIOS admission. The NIOS admission exams are held two times in a year in months of October/November and April/May on the dates that are fixed by NIOS. Along with this, you are also eligible to appear for the on-demand examination held at the secondary and higher secondary level. This eligibility is only for those subjects that you appearing to have admission in NIOS. The exam fees along with the dates are available in the table above. The normal NIOS fees are Rs. 250/subject and the additional fee is Rs. 120/subject that also involves practicals.
NIOS Admission Eligibility Criteria For secondary course, the age limitation is of 14 years. While for higher secondary, the age limitation is of 15 years. Secondary: The minimum age that we described above for secondary students is as of 31st July 2019. Furthermore, a learner who has passed the 8th class and has valid proof that he/she is not 14 years of age can apply for this registration of the secondary course. Also, a learner needs to give a self-certificate wherein he/she declares that they have studied enough to pursue their secondary course is also eligible for the admission in the secondary course. Finally, the learner who has already studied at the secondary
level and is seeking for admission in NIOS either to improve their performance or complete the course can also apply. Senior (Higher) Secondary: The minimum age for the higher secondary students is 15 years and this age should be as of 31st July 2019. For taking the admission in the senior secondary course, the learner should have passed the secondary course from any recognized board in 12th. Also, the learner mist has passed class 10 from a recognized board.
NIOS Admission Fee Structure Mode of Payment: To pay for the admission in NIOS, you have to pay online through credit card, master card, visa or debit card. Also, you can pay through offline modes like a bank draft that can be done through any nationalized bank in India. This should be in the name of secondary, NIOS and paid at the respective regional center.
NIOS Admission Application Process The application process for NIOS admission 2019 ● To fill the application, you need to visit the website semis.nios.ac.in. ● Go through this website and then click on the register button. ● Now, the instructions will appear on the screen. Go through these instructions and click on the proceed button. ● Now select the state that you are going to appear for the exams. ● Once this is done, you have to select a valid ID type from the options given. Usually, this will include passport, ration card, Aadhar number, etc. ● Once you have selected the identity type, you need to enter the number. ● Then select the course for which you are going to take the admission and then select the option ‘submit’. ● Finally, the application form will appear. ● There are four options available in the form as it is categorized into 4 sections. These are basic details, subject selection, optional details, and study center selection. ● You need to fill all the 4 sections and make the payment through your preferred payment gateway.
