Virtual Realities
"Virtual Realities" will focus is on how social media, information and communication technologies and the internet more generally have changed parenting and growing up in today's world. Because of a lack of governance online, all users should be responsible for managing their own online presence and digital lives. At the same time, the constant connectedness of today's world and anonymous nature of the internet makes antisocial behaviours like bullying both easier and more intrusive. This means there should be a sense of responsibility for the online community to help young and inexperienced users deal with these issues, that they may not know how to deal with themselves.
