ENERGY EFFICIENCY in CENTRAL AMERICA
RETROFIT WALLS, CEILINGS, ROOFS AND WINDOWS
REDUCE COST AND USE OF ELECTRICITY USE DAY LIGHT FOR INSIDE LIGHTING L.E.D. LIGHTS PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ENERGY
WHAT IS ENERGY EFFICIENCY? There are many definitions but the most practical and operative is: “To use less energy for the same service.”
Energy Efficiency is not the same as Energy Conservation
ENERGY EFFICIENCY • Retrofit walls, windows and roof • Change to LED lights • New appliances • Solar energy • Cool roof • Solar tubes
ENERGY CONSERVATION • • • • • •
Turn lights off No use of air conditioning Sporadic use of appliances Minimal wattage use Use chargers only when in use Outside light for ilumination
Energy Efficiency: use less energy for the same service Retrofitting home, office or building amounts to thousands in energy savings
Use the sun to supplement your energy use

Changing from using incandescent or flourescent lights to L.E.D. Light Emiting Diodes
What are L.E.D. Lights? (Light Emitting Diodes)
DIODOS EMITIDORES DE LUZ
LED lights work by using light emitting diodes which do not produce heat as incandescent or fluorescent lights do. A positive and negative pole activate the passage of neutrons through a semi conductor for each diode to emit light. LED uses 70% less electricity and emits brighter light.

FLUORESCENT Gas gets hot produces ultra violet light heat and light

CAUTION!
L.E.D Lights are costly, if offered inexpensively, please BEWARE!
Always ask for a guarantee from the manufacturer, if problems, 100% replacement If manufactured in China: MUST ask for guarantee from manufacturer and installer A LED LIGHT CAN MALFUNCTION IF NOT MANUFACTURED CORRECTLY (diodes emit white-blue light and not pure white light) STABLE GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT
