I get to help students not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but to be transformed by the renewal of their minds.
It is a joy to walk shoulder-toshoulder with students as they are growing in Christ, which is part of the privilege of serving at Texas Baptist College.

Lina Cole DILLON RICHARDSONTBC is not about what you learn—it is about who you become and how you use that knowledge for the glory of God. The faculty invests in their students’ lives and are willing to guide you through classes, ministry, and just life in general.
TBC has taught me to apply what I learn and to live it out— get involved, use the great gifts and guidance I’ve been blessed with, and make God’s name known among the people in my city.

Fun Facts
Fort Worth is the 12th largest city in the nation with a population of 950,000 people and the second fastest-growing city in Texas.
The DFW Metroplex has more than 1,000 churches.
For more than a century, Southwestern Seminary has been proud to call Fort Worth “home.” Established in 1849 as an Army outpost, Fort Worth has been historically known as “the cradle of the West.” Fort Worth earned its nickname, “Cowtown,” because it is the center of trade for Texas Longhorns in the city’s historic stockyards. The city reflects its Western roots while enjoying a modern feel.
The Stockyards National Historic District anchors the city to its Texas roots, while in 2020, U.S. News & World Report ranked the city as one of the 25 best places for young professionals. Fort Worth’s Cultural District is home to five-world class museums, including the Kimbell Art Museum, and nearby Sundance Square Plaza features restaurants that offer traditional Texas barbecue and international cuisines and four theaters with live entertainment.
The DFW Metroplex offers a wide variety of opportunities for TBC students to enjoy, including taking in a game of one of the five professional sports teams in the region while also experiencing theme parks, the largest state fair in the United States, and the scenic landscape in the North Texas region.
Texas is home to 400 people groups who speak more than 300 languages.
The world’s second busiest airport calls DFW home.
