WHY GRAVIS? WELCOME. Welcome to Gravis’ Fall/Winter 2006 Collection! As always, the crew at Gravis, combined with our global team of world-class surfers, snowboarders and tastemakers, have been working hard all year to bring you what we think is our hottest, most progressive collection of shoes, bags and accessories yet. In this product line you’ll see we extended our offerings in each of our four collections, creating many new styles and flavors. For example, in our Royale collection you’ll find the Oxford and Oxford Mid for men – which fuses a classic brogue with a casual court. Our Transit collection salutes the ‘80s sneaker era with the introduction of the men’s and women’s Legend, which is a mid-cut court bursting with ‘80s b-ball flavor. Here you’ll also discover the Alpine, a hot new urban hiker, marrying the best of a shell-toe sneaker with a killer hiker. In the Process collection, we love the new Mansfield, our casual hybrid outdoor sneaker. And lastly, the Makani collection features cool fall camo prints as well as hot new colors and material combinations. For women, check out the new Makani Boxer, a high top boxer version of our popular Makani. So, take a seat and roll through the products we’ve spent day and night perfecting from our offices in Burlington, VT, Innsbruck, Austria and Tokyo, Japan. Quality and Detailing – Our Premium Standard: We set our standards higher. Each product we make goes through a “premium filter” to ensure that materials, craftsmanship and comfort meet the highest standards of Gravis quality, fit, function and style. Our materials story alone sets us apart as leaders in lifestyle footwear and accessories. Think Italian, Scottish and Australian wool and Argentinean, French and Brazilian leathers and suedes. Further, we pair our shoes with our proprietary comfort footbed to provide next level fit and support. We also hand select every single component of every single product to ensure that every fabric, leather, nylon, canvas and rubber syncs together perfectly. This fusion is the basis for how well our products will perform – without sacrificing function for fashion. Comfort – The Difference is Life Testing: Most companies take fit and wear-test measurements off standard research done in standard settings. Or, they test in sterile office labs to see if the fit is correct (usually on machines). At Gravis, we actually fit and wear test in the real world, on real people. Gravis’ fit measurements are taken from a global team of athletes and people who actually live life at the mountain, on beaches, traveling the globe and grinding the city pavement. We set our standards high – if the product doesn’t meet our extensive fit-testing criteria, then we go back to the drawing board until its perfect. Our lifestyle – Progressive, Evolving, Active: We are a premium action sports lifestyle brand – we live our lives on the mountain, in the ocean, in the city and in airport terminals. COLLECTIONS Each season’s line is broken into four distinct collections, each with its own story and inspiration. The collections and their themes are drawn from our surrounding world, our riders and our lifestyle. They are the basis from which our original artwork and details are created and conceived. Each offering is unique in its own right, yet the collection as a whole is a tight, unified set – all encompassing Gravis’ premium action sports vibe.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM Since its inception, Gravis has developed and worked closely with a team of the worldâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s best surfers and snowboarders. They travel to the ends of the earth surfing, snowboarding and testing our products. They gather feedback from their journeys and bring this back to our ongoing Roundtable meetings to discuss. Held at some of the best surf and snow locales, the Roundtables bring together our team, designers and developers to surf, ride, hang out and most importantly, discuss product.

MEN’S ROYALE COLLECTION Royale is our most premium and sophisticated line featuring our most casual silhouettes. The styling, materials and details are a cut above – sacrificing nothing in order to produce products for the most discerning consumer. This season, the Royale collection features custom print wools and plaids married together with the most premium full grain supple leathers. The result is a casual, sophisticated line of footwear and accessories that are both classic and stylish. The wools in our Royale collection are sourced from some of the best mills in the world, Pontetorto in Italy and Alexander’s of Scotland. Both companies blend quality base materials with innovative designs of finely woven yarns. Pontetorto’s Tecnopile material adds to the shoe’s functionality and style by fusing technical yarns with fashion forward, classic prints. MEN’S TRANSIT COLLECTION Transit speaks directly to the urban sneaker aficionado. Blending street flavor with athletic court profiles, the collection is marked by poppy colors, throwback details and classic styling. A tight collaboration with influential artist and designer, Cey Adams, helped form an ‘80s hip hop aesthetic that framed the basis of this collection. Cey took inspiration from his past work with the Beastie Boys, Run DMC and De La Soul to create artwork and details that embody the iconic ‘80s hip hop culture. Key features taken from artistic and musical influences result in clean and classic court shoes. Our Legend styles feature premium European leathers tanned and finished in France.

It is our surf lifestyle collection, inspired by classic beach culture. Taking cues from the cruisy lifestyle of islands and beach towns, vibrant color uppers are paired with low-profile trainers and super comfortable sandals. To pay homage to this natural beauty, Gravis has partnered with the Surfrider Foundation to donate a portion of proceeds from each shoe in the Makani line to help protect the oceans, waves and beaches around the world. Every shoe in our FW06 Makani line will include a Surfrider Foundation hangtag. Each tag represents a donation to Surfrider made by Gravis. WOMEN’S TRANSIT COLLECTION Transit speaks directly to the urban sneaker aficionado. Blending street flavor with athletic court profiles, the collection is marked by poppy colors, throwback details and classic styling. A tight collaboration with influential artist and designer, Cey Adams, helped form an ‘80s hip hop aesthetic that framed the basis of this collection. Cey took inspiration from his past work with the Beastie Boys, Run DMC and De La Soul to create artwork and details that embody the iconic ‘80s hip hop culture. Key features taken from artistic and musical influences result in clean and classic court shoes. Our Legend styles feature premium European leathers tanned and finished in France.
