ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY Since 2011, Sycamore has saved over $7.5 Million through energy savings practices and negotiation of good rates.

Sycamore High School teacher Ron Hochstrasser was invited to the White House to receive the 2016 Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators Senior Lexi Meckes won the Caring For Our Watersheds contest by implementing a district-wide battery recycling program. Symmes Elementary School awarded $5,000 Ohio Environmental Education Fund grant for student field investigation technology on the Nature Trail at Symmes.
