Medical Ministry Provides Free Medical Care

GFA World is bringing medical camps to remote communities where people can’t access effective medical care on their own. Medical camps, a major aspect of GFA’s supported medical ministry, bring skilled doctors, medical staff, medication and health training to areas where people rarely have the chance to see a doctor. These camps may be organised in GFA Child Sponsorship Program centres, remote villages, crowded slums—any place there is need and opportunity. One camp typically serves anywhere from 200 to 1,000 children and adults. Local medical personnel are invited to serve at the camp, providing free pediatric and general health care, and eye checkups. Best of all, we’re able to give these services to patients at no charge.

Child Sponsorship Program has begun in Rwanda

After years of faithfully carrying out the command to “Go and make disciples,” we have the tremendous privilege to carry it out in another part of the world! Our work in Africa has begun with GFA World’s Child Sponsorship Program in the slums of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, one of the most densely populated African nations. This is the first of many projects, each with the same vision we started with: to meet tangible needs of precious people and bring the Gospel to those who need it most. The ministry in Rwanda began with helping 50 children in need through our child sponsorship program. That number quickly swelled to 150 and now has increased to more than 500.
