STILETTO RESIDENTIAL
Stiletto is a modern 1,000 sq. ft. home located in Deer Valley, UT. Designed for a couple that has an affinity for modern design. The design has been abstracted from a Louis Vuitton stiletto and modernized in a daring and elegant way. With large windows on the East and West sides of the residence, both sun rises and sun sets can be viewed, helping the couple be truly immersed in their surroundings.

The south elevation has a geometric facade that not only is aesthetically pleasing, but contains photovoltaic panels that help the home make up some energy. The angles of the panels help get maximum solar exposure and in a snowy climate the snow can easily fall off keeping the panels clear.

One57 is a high-rise in New York City overlooking Central Park. The project is a pied-Ă -terre for an international couple that is a home away from home while they are in the city. The space reflects their travels and love of entertaining. They appreciate some color, bold design, and a few antiques.

The Brew Haus and Tap Room is a micro brewery and tasting room located in Denver, CO. With a large facility where all their craft brews can be made in house. With their Brew Master just upstairs, new recipes are constantly being tested. Curtain wall windows looking into the Brewery let anyone watch how each batch is made. A contemporary design makes for a great place to enjoy the latest brew on tap.

Refugee HQ is the headquarters of a refugee foundation that helps relocate refugee families from all over the world. The building is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The concept throughout the design is a boat. An abstraction that symbolizes the journey that the families have been through and the ones that they have yet to voyage. Some key elements in the design were finding a creative way to maximize the use in each area. It was important to make the overall design feel welcoming while representing the concept. The purpose of designing this space is to make all feel safe and secure.

Eunoia is a Greek word for beautiful mind, and well thinking. Located in Santorini, Greece, this boutique hotel creates a luxurious step into Greek culture. This romantic space has some very rustic finishes that add a soft touch to the very minimal design. The most important part of this design was to make it well thought out and beautifully executed, based off of the name. Integrating the design with the historic Greek architecture adds a sense of maturity and sophistication. A soft color palette with some Grecian blue accents make for a soothing space surrounded buy the beautiful views of Santorini.

RETAIL
The Wheel is a small bike shop in Logan, Utah. They have all bikes: mountain bikes, road bikes, and kids bikes. It was important to think through each part of the design to create a space that all could come for their biking needs. A shop with a window to view what the mechanics are doing welcomes customers to observe what is going on with their bike. An important part of the design was wayfinding; being able to find exactly what you are looking for without difficulty is always something to think about in a retail space. Each element is designed to be easily located with the help of the materials and finishes. An art piece that doubles as a lighting fixture creates some texture and interest.
