You’re in love Congratulations on your engagement! I am excited that you are interested in letting me be a part of your big day. You have a lot of decisions to make between now and your wedding, and I want to be as useful as possible to you both. In this catalog you will find information on how I photograph a wedding and what happens after the big day. It is just a snippet of what I will do before, on the day of, and after your wedding. If I did not cover something you wanted to know do not hesitate to ask. I am an open book. As a photographer I get access to people’s lives that other don’t. It may be a little intimidating to have someone constantly watching you, but I hope that you come to view me as a friend and will not feel any awkwardness. The most important thing for you to do on your wedding day, is be yourself. I know that is an over used saying, but I believe that emotions, personalities, and thoughts come across in photographs. When you are deciding on a wedding photographer, whether that be me or someone else, choose someone that has connected with you and fits your personal style. Keeping your budget in mind is important, and I believe that no marriage should begin in unnecessary debt, but remember you get what you pay for. I offer one package because I want you to have the best of what I can create without worrying that you are missing something because you chose the wrong package. how things work
before the wedding Details. Details. Details. I love details! You’ve spent weeks, months, and maybe years planning this day and in ten years you will want to see those details again. For that to happen, I need to know what you have planned. In the weeks prior to the wedding we will create a custom shot list of things that will take place that day. Communication. I blame it on my major, but I ask a ton of questions. It’s important to have a game plan before the day of the wedding. As you nail down more details we will make a time line of the day’s events to ensure plenty of time for all of the photographs you want.
the wedding It is finally here! Time to sit back, get pampered, and enjoy your family and friends coming together. My assistant and I will arrive at the designated time and start photographing details, the wedding party getting ready, and any pre-ceremony groups. If you have chosen to do a first look, that will take place before any group or family photographs. After the ceremony we will finish all of the remaining group photographs. If a first look session was not chosen this is when we will photograph you as a married couple. Once that is complete we will head to the reception and photograph the night away.
after the wedding Expect your photographs to be edited 5-6 weeks after the wedding day. I personally edit each photograph. Photographs will be uploaded online for your viewing while you wait for your digital copies to arrive. These files were not made to live on a disk. Print them. Share them. Enjoy them. I give you a print release so that you can print them anytime that you want and anywhere. Just remember that great quality is worth the extra money. Consider investing in some of the prints and products that I offer.
