1 UX CASE STUDY 5


> PROBLEM DEFINITION The society complains about lack of time and neglect their indoor plants. In result, we lose plenty of benefits flowing from having them.

> AIM OF THE GUIDE The idea predicts to get to the user the knowledge about plants. This concept is for people who wish to grace their home with well-manicured plants. The app is educational and will allow the user to become an expert in the care of plants selected according to his taste.

> THE IDEA The idea is to create the database of the plants in order to choose them according to our taste. Furthermore, the user will get reminders and never forget about his duties.

> PERSONAS Julia is frustrated at the lack of time in her household. She has got a fancy plant for her birthday but the one is already in a bad condition. She would like to take care of plants but doesn’t even know what is its name. Victoria has a collection of favourite plants admired by all of the guests. She wants to enlarge her collection and show off to the guest with her perfectionism. Tom attempts to put in the plants in his new flat but he does not know which of them do not require a lot of attention. He is too busy for higly demanding plants. Instead of this he wants to be sure that plants will be in a good condition for a long time.

> COLORS I chose the colour of most plants. It is an energizing-relaxing tone of green. In order to use an app easily, the colour of white subtitles is intensive and deep, what creates a sufficient contrast.

> TYPOGRAPHY The font I decided to use was Belotta, in Regular and Bold style to expose the headlines and important information. The logotype is highly relevant to the shape of several letters. The shape of the letters is soft line. All of the elements generate a consistent impression.

> NAVIGATION Navigation elements were created as simply as possible. They strongly refer to the curvy shape of typography. There are 2 different kinds of lines. The bold one indicates on clickable navigation element and the fine one has only informational or ornamental character. 3 kind of navigation elements - The screens in the several parts of main menu are swipeable and shows by the points. The main menu in the botton is typical for the applications enable to get to any part of the app. The 3rd button is created for the links and log in part.

> AIM OF THE PROJECT The editorial design project has been developed with passion to the nature. All the pictures contained in there has been taken by me. Combined with human postures show how the human body is connected with nature.

> AIM OF THE PROJECT The aim of the following graphic was to illustrate the information gathered to compare the usage between laptops and mobile phones. In 2017 usage of laptops was 3% bigger than in 2018. Comparatively to the mobile phones the tendency is opposite. In 2018 usage of mobile phones is bigger about 4% than in 2017.

Over 48% of people declared using mobile devices for more than 2 hours a day. The share of smartphones and tablet devices in the network is 46% (in the previous year it was up to 43%). In the United States only 25% of surfers don’t surf from the level of smartphones.
