Step 1: remove from packaging - Carefully remove the turntable from the box and foam protection. - The tonearm counterweight is packaged inside the foam block. Do not discard. - Retain all packaging if you intend to transport the turntable in the future.

Step 2: install the counterweight - Insert the counterweight onto the back end of the tonearm. - Twist as you push. - Push until you reach to stop point. This calibrates your tonearm for the pre-installed Rega Carbon cartridge.

Step 3: remove platter - To remove the platter, lift straight up. - Set the speed of your turntable to 33 or 45 RPM by moving the belt to the appropriate wheel. See diagram below.

Step 4: remove the spacer - The cardboard spacer protects the motor during shipping. - Remove tape and slide the spacer out. - Replace platter and lay the felt mat onto the surface to protect records.

Step 5: install the dust cover - Slip the tabs of the dust cover into the slots on the back of the turntable. - Gently lift the front edge of the dust cover to open.

Step 6: plug into phono preamp - Your turntable requires a phono preamp which is pre-installed inside the back of your cabinet. - Plug the RCA phono leads from your turntable into the input jacks on the phono preamp. - The output of the phono preamp is pre-wired to line 1 on the main preamp. - Plug the turntable power cord into the power strip located inside the cabinet.
