For the last 22 years, Cynthia Washington has owned WCI and gone around the nation helping federal government agencies meet their socioeconomic and diversity goals. Now they are branching out to the state and local governments and really helping them create diversity

contracts. “We want to ensure that they’re qualified,” Washington said. “If they’re qualified, you can’t deny them.” She says her top priorities in running her business is creating equity in government practice, ensuring jobs are created, and
building economic development for businesses. “When you have contracts, it’s a guaranteed source of income for any community,” Washington said. “We call ourselves the ‘global connecters’ because we can connect to anybody anywhere. Topics such as health and wisdom will be discussed to help entrepreneurs on their path towards running successful businesses and continue to inspire them along the way. “Inspiring means you’re going to move them forward in their efforts,” Washington said.
