TONE UP FOR SUMMER REVIVE SERVICE During the summer months or after holidaying in gorgeous sunshine, harmful rays can change the tone of your clients blonde hair leaving them toneless and looking dry. Why not offer them a quick Blonde Revive Service and transform them to a natural blonde once again?

1. Cleanse hair using Biolage Hydrathérapie or Total Results Moisture shampoo. 2. Dry hair until 80% dry then spray in Total Results Instacure. 3. Tone with a shade from Color Sync the same level or up to 1 level lighter than the lightened hair (this will tone but not darken). 4. Process visually checking every 3-5 minutes and develop for up to 20 minutes. 5. Rinse until the water runs clear, shampoo lightly with Biolage Colorcarétherapie or Total Results Color Care then add in Biolage Hydra-Cera Repair.

PURIFYING SERVICE After lightening hair to blonde using Light Master it’s important to give the hair a beautiful and professional finish to complete the finished result. To do this, simply tone the hair after a lightening service and purify the colour with a key shade from the Matrix Portfolio. We’ve given you some ideas for the best Blonde Purifying Service: 1. A sses the hair to be lightened then use Light Master on or off the scalp using the appropriate mixing ratio (1:2 for on scalp applications and 1:1 for off scalp highlights using VisiColor, Foil or Balayage). 2. R emember for the best results on scalp use Matrix Cream Developer 10 Volume (3%), 20 Volume (6%) or 30 Volume (9%). 3. P rocess the hair until you reach the desired Natural Underlying Pigment (N.U.P). 4. A fter rinsing the hair and shampooing with Biolage Keratindose, treat with Total Results 5+ Protopack for 5 minutes. 5. R inse and dry the hair before applying Total Results Instacure. 6. Blondes need to be extra vigilant when it comes to protecting colour. In summer it is even more important to look after blonde and highlight clients due to the sun exposure they are likely to have. Offering toning services is an ideal way to increase average spend in salon, encourage clients to come back between their regular services and show your professional expertise! Clients aren’t always aware of the different toning services available in salon and won’t necessarily ask for these services so it’s important to shout about these as much as possible – not just during the summer!

Playful party pastel blondes are perfect for this time of year and ideal for closing the summer party season. ‘Chalky’ and ‘Pastel’ blondes are very on trend with clients asking for various shades; particularly pink!
