VIP LOUNGE VIP Club Lounge takes visitors to the Summit
The Summit Aerospace VIP Club Lounge had a strong presence on the show floor
Connections are everything and when you are a buyer with a strong market presence it makes sense to maximise your network.
The VIP Club Lounge, open to attendees with Airline VIP status and open during exhibition hours, provided select seats and tables, free drinks and a quieter zone where the conversation could flow.
Summit Aerospace was the VIP Club Lounge sponsor for MRO Europe 2021 and have taken the sponsorship for 2022, when it takes place in London, and for 2023 when the show returns to Amsterdam. Summit Aerospace serves more than one hundred clients a year worldwide. It helps its customers reduce their repair and overhaul maintenance costs with innovative solutions. Summit employees are dedicated to continuously improving the quality, value, and, above all, the safety of all.
Customers could have a drink in the VIP Club Lounge and take the time to relax or schedule a meeting. At the heart of the VIP Club Lounge is the idea of partnership, and Summit works in partnership with its customers by continuously integrating its services within the wider air transport industry. Summit manages the growth of each of its businesses by investing in all aspects of its services. Investing time is something that can be done in the VIP Club Lounge.
“It’s been excellent. We love the concept of the VIP Club Lounge, and we intend to be the sponsor now and for a while,” Summit Aerospace Chief Operating Officer Kent Kendrick said, beverage in hand, in the VIP Club Lounge. A lounge is where long-term relationships can be formed. For Summit, partnering the firm’s companies with its customers is the vision. This is done by creating the best possible relationship, thinking of the long-term relationship from the moment the customer decides to put their trust in Summit services. And that can begin at MRO Europe, in the VIP Club Lounge. “It’s been great; we’ve made a lot of
contacts. The VIP Club Lounge has been excellent. So much so we have secured it for next year,” Kendrick added.
The concept of the VIP Club Lounge tallies with Summit’s values. Be easy and simple to do business with. Form partnerships to ensure the delivery of a seamless and stress-free service. Always consider the complete journey from the moment the customers send in their repairs. Invest in time to install the latest equipment, more than any other MRO company in the world, to make customers’ repairs safer and more reliable. Introducing state-of-the-art technology throughout each Summit facility is an ongoing process, just like those introductions that can be had in a VIP Club Lounge. “It’s been a great [MRO Europe] show. It’s one of my favourites for sure. For us personally, yes [to making connections]. You get to meet them as they walk in the door. They come up wanting to come in, so it’s a great opportunity for us, so we’re very happy with it. We’ve had a lot of contacts come in,” Kendrick enthused.
What is better than open and honest conversation in the relaxed surroundings of a VIP Club Lounge? Aim high is another Summit value, tempered by knowing that it is key to always being realistic about what can be achieved.
“We’re ready to go,” said Kendrick. “Summit Aerospace had no slow down whatsoever through the Covid [pandemic]. We’ve met a lot of new people here, even met some people from the States who can give us business, we met them here, so it’s really worked out very well.” Summit Aerospace is about working together, a people business, talking to the customers and more importantly, listening to the customers. Summit aims to develop a partnership approach and what could be more appropriate than that than a VIP Club Lounge.
“Simplest way I can summarize this year’s MRO is: Quality over Quantity,” said Summit Aerospace Vice President Sales and Marketing, Alain Torres. n
