Learn About International University for Science & Renaissance (I-USR) The war in Syria has had a devastating impact on access to education. Millions of students have been forced to flee their homes due to the conflict. Over 60% of graduated high school students are unable to find opportunities to pursue higher education. An entire generation of children, as well as Syria’s economic development, is at stake. In response to the magnitude of this situation, International University for Science & Renaissance (I-USR) was registered in the USA and established officially in northern Syria. and It was established in support of Syria Relief & Development (SRD-Foundation), a nonprofit organization that provides humanitarian aid to Syrians affected by violence, hunger, poverty, injury and displacement. I-USR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private higher educational institution that provides a blended direct and online education. It works to address the increased need for higher education, as well as developmental education and training, inside of Syria.
