Click on the First name field

Creating your list


For first time users, you can click here


Or click Lists


Either way will open this page


Click Create List


The Create List page opens


Click here to enter a name for your list


Type the name


Click here


Type an email address


Click on this textbox


Type a name


Click here


Type a message


Scroll down the page


Click to choose your preferred Notifications type


Click Save


You now have a new list!


Adding a single subscriber to a list


On your dashboard, click Lists


Find the list you want to work with


Click the Subscriber icon next to the list


Add a subscriber form is shown


Type in the information required


Click here


Type the email address


Click on this field


Type the first name


Click on the Last Name field


Type the person’s last name


Tick this box


Click Subscribe


Importing a list using CSV


Go the Lists page


Click the drop-down menu next to the list you want to work with


A drop-down menu appears


Choose Import


A list of options on how to import file appears


Choose CSV or tab-delimited text file.


Click Next


This page opens


Click Browse


The Windows Explorer opens


Find the file


Click to select the file


Click Open


It will bring you back to the Uploader page


Tick this box


Click Next


Mailchimp will check if all columns match in the list


Click Next

Click here to scroll down


Choose how to categorized the imported contacts


Click Next


Mailchimp confirms that new contacts has been added


Copying/pasting contact list from an Excel file


On your dashboard, click Lists


Click the drop-down arrow


The drop-down menu opens


Click Import


This page opens


Click Copy/paste from file


Click Next


This is where the copied contacts will be pasted


Go to your excel file


Copy the list


Go back to this page


Click here


Paste the list


Click here to scroll down the page


Tick the box


If all columns are matched, click Next
