Renée’s Creamy Peppercorn Aioli

Butter (softened, for grilling)

Instructions: Prepare the Bread:

Slice the rosemary focaccia bread into your desired sandwich thickness. Aim for even slices to ensure a consistent grilling experience.

Assemble the Sandwich:

Spread a generous amount of Renée’s Creamy Peppercorn Aioli on one side of each slice of focaccia.

On one slice, layer the slices of brie cheese evenly. Brie melts beautifully, so don’t worry about covering every inch perfectly. Add a layer of prosciutto over the brie. The amount is up to your taste preference.

Sprinkle the chopped vegetable giardiniera over the prosciutto for a tangy and crunchy element. Top it off with a handful of fresh arugula.

Close the Sandwich:

Place the second slice of focaccia on top, aioli side facing in.

Butter the Bread:

Lightly butter the outside of each slice of focaccia. This will give your sandwich a golden, crispy exterior.

Grill the Sandwich:

Press down gently with a spatula or a sandwich press to ensure even grilling.

Grill until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the brie is melted, about 3-5 minutes per side. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, place the sandwich in the skillet.

In a small bowl, mix together the Heinz Black Garlic Sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped thyme, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined.
