Mobil Market MOME product design BA3
Mobil Market is a micromobility vehicle with a service that provides space for urban street sales, and gives mobility for participants. It primarily provides a more dignified sales platform for today’s street vendors. And it would gradually involve young novice artisans and entrepreneurs, thereby enlivening the image of the street. By setting up the system, site-specific sales could be changed. Stefan Lengyel Excellence Scholarship 09

Food Flow MOME product design BA2
With Food Flow project, my goal is to connect two groups through a public smart refrigerator to reduce food waste. One group includes those people who have too much food and the other includes those who have too little. The management of food waste is a huge problem in the World. There is no hygienic solution if we want to give the remaining, still good quality part of our food to a person in need. I would like to make this interaction suitable for our everyday life. Bringing the two groups closer together and saving food during the process. 13

People can quickly put food into the refrigerator, but they want to be the part of the community more, they can stay for a little, even sit down.

Leaf Chair MOME product design BA2-BA3
Leaf Chair is a lounge chair designed as part of a ‘Join Details’ course. Our task was to choose a ‘joined detail’ and transfer it to an object. The lounge chair is built around an enlarged join detail, capturing a quick, fleeting, seemingly subtle movement. If we cut a square plate in half to its middle part and then fold it, we get a cup-like shape reminiscent of a chair seat. The transmission of this formal gesture is the seat of the lounge chair.

for fleeting, seemingly subtle movement, I used industrial felt

IKEA X Vásárhelyi hímzés MOME product design BA3
During the ‘Trendmania’ course, I dealt with the topic of handicrafts. The essence of my concept is to translate the embroidery heritage of Hódmezővásárhely into our current object culture. For this, I chose IKEA’s mass-produced, impersonal objects as a tool. I envisioned a collection where IKEA would release tiny “hack” collections nationwide, inspired by different craft traditions. As the first example of this collaboration, I designed a cover for the IKEA Marius chair inspired by the embordiery of Hódmezővásárhely. 23

In our complex final task, in the topic of local gastronomy, I dealt with the habit of snacking. The “It can stay.” set of objects are the functional “Zero Waste ”packaging of everyday breakfast and dinner components like bread, vegetables and cold cuts. The packaging allows us to buy the products in it, then store, and finally serve them - this makes it easy to create the right conditions for a snack with only small changes on the same package pieces.

Dovecote MOME product design BA3 37
During the design of the Pet House, I dealt with pigeons as the target animal group . In terms of form and implementation I was intrested in the classical, standing dovecotes. I set the goal to design a classic dovecote but using non-standard material that are waterproof in itself, yet it allows minimal flow of air and light. The point of my concept is that I set up tents for pigeons, using pearl canvas, zipped to a wooden structure that it protects them, yet it breathes almost organically with them. With the zip it is easily installed or removed and washed once cleaning is required.
classical-footed dovecotes are now built for smaller group of pigeons mostly kept free
MOME product design BA3 39
the dovecote’s target group is mostly families with young children, or people who start to show interest in pigeons
Waterproof cover
It heats up easily in winter and can be ventilated in summer, easy to clean and unwind from the structure.

Chalk from Nature MOME product design BA2 43
We were given the task of designing a promotional object for the International World Hunting and Nature Exhibition. One of my childhood challenges was to get to know how I could extract the color of the fall leaves and draw with them. In response to this challenge, the goal of my concept is to create a set of chalk that gets its color from collected fruits, leaves, berries. The project’s goal is to remind the users of the joy of getting dirty from nature. And also to inspire them to look at the “treasures” found in nature differently. I dyed gypsum with the organic ink I made, to make the cubes.

Zöldövezet Christmas Card Zöldövezet graphic design 47
The Zöldövezet Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to event greening. I am constantly working on graphic design for the Zöldövezet Association. The first task of working together was an informative, educational Christmas greeting card about bird feeding. The goal was to put together an easy-to-understand sheet on bird feeding during winter. My starting point was the memory of how my mom taught me about the differences between birds. I had to memorize the main spots of colors on the bodies of birds. And I used this as the pattern of the postcard.
