Northern View Angus

As Tony Basil said in 1981, “Oh Mickey your so fine you blow my mind. Hey Mickey.” This guy is as cute as a bugs ear with his handsome head and neck and overall proud presence that makes him stand out. I love his head and ears. Mickey is smooth and shapely from end to end and is supported by an excellent foot and leg. This kitten quiet calf is a March 1st guy. His look is eerily similar to the Lot 1 bull. Each time I see him get up on the straw pack I say, “Oh who is that?” It is Mickey. Mickey’s dam is a very nice female who stems back to the Miss Marion 20R cow. 20R was a huge part of the embryo program at Hollinger Land and Cattle. All three of Marion 749D’s daughters are working in purebred herds. I love love this bull and his dam. He will make excellent show steers and productive females. This bull is halter broke. Recommended for heifers.

We, like most everyone, do not want issues calving out heifers. As a result, we try to always use the absolute best calving ease sires we can find. We want heifers to have an easy time calving and spring into action after calving and not lay there exhausted with the calf laying in a mess behind her. Rainfall is the ticket here. Calves come easy, wanna live and just go flat out. We have used Rainfall on heifers and cows for the past three years now. The bulls are highly marketable with lots of shape and style. The daughters are like, “WOW!!!” Great angus females, great moms and wonderful temperament. Udders are lights out. We have more girls in the replacement pen for next year.

Love this guy’s smooth made heifer bull style. He has very nice muscle shape and dimension. Run and Gun 13K has great feet and legs and a is easy to manage. His pedigree is loaded with wonderful calving ease genes in Trapper, Charlo, New Fly. These heifer bull genes are coupled with growth and jam too. This guys dam, 112H is a very nice young cow who milks well and looks to be a long term female here. This bull is halter broke. Recommended for heifers.
