From The Desk At T Bar C

Welcome to the 5th Annual C2 Charolais Bull sale on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the farm, La Riviere, Manitoba along with guests Bert and Judy from JMB. “What an outstanding family operation dedicated to the Charolais Breed, the livestock industry, the environment and their community”. Their breeding program just gets better year after year, and they use all the tools available to move this exciting livestock industry forward. Being certified in VPB+ (Verified Beef Certification Plus) brings credibility to their actions and practices and to that of their customers. The C2 customer service is second to none and their handshake is their word. Each year better… for sure! This is an exciting offering of Charolais yearling bulls. This program is genetically diverse and designed to excel in calving ease, grow tons of hair while not sacrificing performance that the breed is noted for. Last fall they attended a few shows and found that their program can compete. No doubt “C2 Kong 120K” is a true headliner and Reserve Champion at Ag-Ex 2022… but the uniformity of the C2 bulls gives breeders and commercial producers a great selection of performance value-added sires to choose from. Many of the bulls are homo polled and in this lineup you will find a large number of heifer bulls.

The JMB program will feature “Klondike” , a powerful heifer’s first calf and a lineup of high performance “Diesel” sons.

Feel free to stop by the farm any time prior to the sale and preview their bull pens and have a peek at their mothers. Don’t hesitate to give Jeff a call to discuss their bulls and the bulls that would be most suited for your breeding pastures. They will give you the goods straight up! Plan to be with us on March 29th at C2… the feature Charolais bull sale in Manitoba…. It will be well worth the trip.

We have graded all the bulls therefore if we may be of assistance prior to, or sale day, feel free to contact any of the T Bar Team or myself, we will help you in a professional manner.

The Juniors are busy planning for this summer’s National Conference being held in Brandon in July. All auction proceeds donated will be used towards this event.

Scholarship Opportunities! If you are using registered Charolais Bulls, your children are eligible to apply for both scholarships offered by the above associations. Details can be found on charolaisbanner.com and charolais.com
