Welcome to the Fourth Annual J Square S Online Bull Sale Welcome!

It is a great honor to invite you to our Fourth Annual Online Bull Sale. I am very excited to present this offering of our 2022 yearling bull calf crop. I would also like to thank all of our past customers for the purchases and confidence in our program.

As a family, we are very busy in many community and recreational activities. Jayla is now in grade 3 and is currently enjoying her first year of figure skating. Scottie is in grade 1 and has successfully taken on the challenge of playing hockey. Both girls are in 4-H with the Neudorf Beef Club, gymnastics and like spending time at the beach in the summer. Our baby girl Ally will be turning 3 in April and is still interested in everything. I continue to play rec hockey and Jacklyn plays Volleyball in a woman’s league.

We continue to co-host the Female Focus Female Sale with our good friends at Hollinger Land and Cattle. Chad and I are excited to continue this sale next fall again. We are very thankful and appreciative of all the support from new and previous customers though out the past four years.

We are continuing to use the DLMS Farmgate bidding platform this year. I feel this is an excellent format to sell our offering and enjoy working with the team at DLMS. Feel free to contact any one on their team or myself for support if you need.

This year we have another exceptional offering of yearling bulls. They are headlined by HF ALCATRAZ 60F, Conley South Point and Square B True North. These bulls are herd sires that we truly believe in. We also have something a little different this year as we are offering our herd sire Magnum whom we own with Cranberry Creek Angus of Boissevain, Manitoba.

Just like in the past we will offer free delivery or will aid in the delivery of your bulls. We would like to have the bulls to you by May 1, 2020 but can discuss options if they need to stay longer.

If you would like a video of any of the bulls, they are available on request. I am very proud of the bulls we have on offer this year. I feel that they are a great combination of breed leading genetics that have been developed modestly to get your cows serviced as well as last you for years to come.

How To Bid

1. Visit https://farmgatetimedauctions.ca, click the LOGIN/REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account. It allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots, or someone challenges your proxy bid. This is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number.

If you are a past participant in the Farm Gate Timed auctions, simply enter your username and password to continue. This takes you to a list of both current and upcoming Farm Gate Auctions. Select the J SQUARE S ONLINE BULL SALE.

2. You can choose your favourite lots in the sale at this time. The program will allow you to open either all sale lots, or just your favorite lots on your screen. Any time there is active bidding on a lot you have identified on your favorite list, you will get a text and/or an email noting this activity.

3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale. If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you. But if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again, or moving your attention to a second lot of interest.

4. At closing time of the sale, the entire sale will extend bidding for 5 minutes if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after 7 PM will extend the sale by 5 minutes, from the time of that bid. When no bidding occurs for 5 minutes, the computer will declare the sale finished.

5. Within 24 hours of the sale close, the sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/pick up of your lot.

Magnum is co-owned with our good friends Dave and Jeanette Neufeld who operate Cranberry Creek Angus in Boissevain MB. Dave has downsized his herd and doesn’ t need the use Magnum anymore. Magnum is very impressive!!! He has that herd bull look and has bred very well. He is a bull that can likely breed 50 cows in a breeding season and come home in the same condition as the day he was turned out.

He is sired by SAV International and backed by the great Miss Essense cow family of Miller Wilson Angus.
