Our team at Peak Veterinary Health is proud to be working with Wheatland Cattle Co. over the past few years. During that time, we have seen their genetics be used extensively throughout many other high quality seedstock operations and commercial cow-calf operations. Their reputation for superior genetics, coupled with high quality customer service speaks for itself.

Proper nutrition, high health status, and a lifetime of genetic selection has lead to highly fertile cattle. It is a pleasure working with donor cattle, and bulls that just plain produce. We routinely test Wheatland herd bulls at ranches in the surrounding area that are well into breeding careers. Fertile animals with sound structure results in tremendous longevity and functionality.

We visit the Wheatland Cattle Co ranch several times throughout the year to ensure the health status of all animals in the operation. We have worked closely to design a customized vaccine and deworming strategy for each class of cattle based on the conditions, ensuring the cattle perform as expected when reaching your ranch. All breeding females are on a Zoetis health program ensuring optimal protection from BVD PI calves and ensuring high rates of passive transfer of immunity to calves. From birth to weaning all bulls are provided with a vaccine strategy that ensures these cattle are ready to face any disease challenge that comes their way.

Peak Veterinary Health is a large animal veterinary clinic based out of Moose Jaw, SK. Our Practice offers a comprehensive list of advanced reproductive services including In Vitro Fertilization, Conventional Donor flushing, Embryo transfer, and Owners Use semen collection. We are a CFIA approved laboratory for embryo export and provide a recipient herd for our clients. Our mobile lab is fully certified to perform all services on farm.
