“VAI E VIENI” Gruppo Folklorico Gregoriano DESCRIPTION This movie shows the exhibition of the “Gruppo Folklorico Gregoriano” a Folk Group from a little village in Southern Italy, San Gregorio Magno, during a tournèe around Italy. The specific dance is the most important dance of the complete show, but also a symbol of the peasant tradition of the village. The choreography is articulated on the alternation of group, couple or individual steps, but basically, the collectivity characterizes the dance. The performance represents a moment of pride and fun, dancing with it is a bit like going to a luna park. The harmony of the movements follows the music, played with traditional instruments.
