Raspberry Lemonade

Raspberry puree is added into homemade lemonade for a fresh summer pucker!

Simple syrup

2 c. water

2 c. sugar

This is a sugar syrup that makes incorporating sugar into cold drinks much easier It works well for iced coffees and cocktails too!

Bring this mixture to a boil, stirring constantly until all the sugar is dissolved. Cool completely before adding to the lemonade or any other drink of choice.

Raspberry Puree

2 c. fresh or frozen raspberries

3 tsp. lemon juice

Place both ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Continually mash the raspberries until the liquid and the raspberry pieces become a thicker, consistent texture. Remove from heat and cool completely. This puree can easily be frozen to use at a later date or as a smoothie add-in.

Lemonade

3.5 l. water

2¼ c. freshly squeezed lemon juice

¾ c. raspberry puree

2 c. simple syrup

As much ice as desired

Mix all the ingredients together and serve! Add a mint leaf or two for a fresh summer garnish. n
