PA KOMOREBI HUT CLEANING AIR FOREST REFUGE “Between the world and the word are three small shapes, the signs for ‘‘tree,’’ ‘‘escape,’’ and ‘‘sun.’’ I watch how the light leaks through them, casting a shade in both directions

in the late year, on the russet path barred with the shadows of trees. I love how it exults, like any escapee on the lake in slow reflective waves, in radiant bands ascending the birch trunks

PA paesaggi (s)confinati INTHECUBE The main idea was to investigate the ability to look beyond a BOUNDARY. The chance, after building a wall, to look through it. Infact, a boundary separates an internal space from an external one, but it would be useless if the ob-

server could not have the perception of both spaces. For this reason, the installation is characterized by a window capable of projecting the observer towards boundless landscapes. Looking through a hole on the CUBE, a space

2015, Torino, Italy TEAM: TA.R.I. Architects CLIENT/SPONSOR: Festival “Architettura in città” confined by six faces, it’s possible to observe an opening, a border of the border line itself, through which to watch an endless space. A delimited boundary, then, that becomes an instrument of observation of a boundless landscape.

PA brainet FLEXIBLE TEMPORARY PAVILION BRAINet is not only a symbol for the World Congress of Neuroscience, but also a space of aggregation and socialization, sited in the charming setting of Piazza di Pietra. It comes from the dual need to advertise the

global conference sponsored by the Foundation Atena, setting an area able to offer new functions and activities during the day of the conference. BRAINet, therefore, is identified as the nodal

element of a social and relational interaction, belonging to scientific research and dissemination of the same International Conference of Neuroscience and specifically to Atena Foundation activities.

PA mario er muro NOT A SIMPLE WALL MARIO is a wall, but not like everyone else. He is different. Mario has a split personality, apparently closed to the outside but very cozy with those who pass through him. Mario timidly lets the visitors look inside, write, scratch

and even touch, all things that a normal wall definetly can’t stand! He welcomes you in his inner space, protecting you from noise and bad weather, but he also lets you do what you want: eat, read a book, study, rest, exhibit, perform,

act. Mario is well known by all the inhabitants of the neighborhood crossing through it or walking by, so much that he earned a nickname: if you ask for MARIOerMURO, everyone will tell you where to find him.
