Celebrating 25 Consecutive Winning Seasons, 1948 - 1972 Palatial Olson Auditorium, a $2.2 million facility featured in the January issue of Scholastic Coach Maga­

zine, has a UniTurf floor and a seating capacity of 3,200 for athletic contests., Other features include an

AstroTurf fieldhouse, handball courts, squash court, sauna, faculty offices, weight training room, gymnastics area, and wrestling room. Complementing this modern edifice are the swimming pool complex, Memorial Gymnasium, tennis courts, nine-hole golf course, baseball diamond, cinder track, football practice field, and intramural playfields. PLU belongs to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and is a member of the Pacific Northwest Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The School of Physical Education offers majors in physical education, recreation, and corrective therapy
