Logger Lowdown The Northern Montana "Lights" sport a 3-2 record looking toward their Washington State swing with stops here and at St. Martins. Wins were against Lethbridge University and South Alberta Tech of Canada, and Chadron State of Nebraska. NMC dropped a pair at the Eastern Montana Tip-Off Tournament in Billings to Moorhead State and host Eastern Montana, 90-63, Northern Montana is led by the Vandermars brothers, Tom and Tim, who have been averaging close to 14 points and 5 rebounds per game.

In their second game, the Ladies were tripped up by the heavily talented Bellco AAU team. Playing against many ex-All Americans, the Loggers lost 116-67.

Three Ladies scored in double figures, led by Reykdal with 14; Lisa DiLoreto followed with 12, and Cyndi Kavanagh added 10.

The Loggers dropped their first exhibi­ tion game to Green River Community College 73-60. The Ladies got off to a slow start, trailing 32-22 at the half. Judy MacLeod led all scorers with 20 points. Michelle Hillesland and Kris Reykdal added 12 points each.
