The scoreboard over the con cession building was presented to the stadium by the Active Club and is operated by students of the high school. To bring the play by play result to the spectators, a three-way telephone system was installed. Ike Parker follows the game up and down the sidelines and reports the exact results into his field "mike." Everything he says is heard in the press box and at the scoreboard. Don Davies re ceives the information in the press box and sorts out the information that comes out over the, public address system. He gives this in formation to Larry Watson who does the announcing. It is nec essary that these boys become the with familiar thoroughly players, their numbers and posi tions, and also the rules of the game as well as the penalties and all signals given by the referees. Receiving this information on the room of the concession building is Jerry Coldiron, who in turn passes it on to. the scoreboard operators. Operating the scoreboard is Bill Houle and ------------ Jones. The time clock is the official time of the game and is opearted from the football field. Fran Kelly, peren nial time-keeper for high school athletics, follows the play up and down the sidelines and has the control of the clock in his hands. Also assisting in the press box is a spotter, Don Farrar, who as sists the sports editors by iden tifying the different Bremerton players. Ken Bayer is in charge of the press box and is in charge of keeping. it clean, quiet and prop erly manned.
