Isover Student Competition (4th Place; Ljubljana/Slo 2012)

Elements taken from the existing victorian building and incorporated into our. The ''boxes'' on the sides of the buidlings have unique functions to support the building. Inside we can ďŹ nd water tanks (water is collected from the roofs unique drainage system), bateries that store electr the solar panels on the roof and on the sides and all the buildings plumbing which ensures that the insulation is optimal through the house and reduces costs by having less pipes.

The idea is as shown that the houses can be joint together one by one making it possible to create a semi-detached passive house row or have just one individual house by itself.

The exterior ''boxes'' have the old victorian facade while the rest of the house is entirely covered in dark metal panels. The house has 10 vertical rows of panels, some of them replaced by a glass wall and solar panels.

Old basin transformed into a dock for smaller boats. Also platform on water level.

The concept for the urban design was to regenarate the area, make it greener and to some level self-sufficient. The large structures by the river were conected and the facades vegetated. In the bottom levels we have shops and restaurants while in the upper levels there are offices. In the north area we made room for a kindergarden while the rest is transformed into a park. Recration and public events for the community take place here. Car parking is hiden from the public in an open underground garage. The area has a modern green feeling with contemporary elements.

Inside modular unit are installed LED lights.

The light, which can be different colours, goes through Qbiss Air “translucent unit” and is look like “lighthouse”. That helps cyclists to orientate in space when they need help or they are hungry.

Situation: In the first way, this design of self service bike station is possible to place everywhere in the city. But at a given location, bike station in placed on the sidewalk’s edge with cycle track and still allows pedestrians to walk past, but also enough close cyclist to stop on

Section shows interior of modular unit. Elements are ecologically oriented, ECO-solar roof collecting sun energy to produce electical energy for independent working of bike station. Water collector “catch” the rain, the water is saved in water reservoir and used for washing hands, which are dirty from bicycle servicing. The central core it’s kiosk with goods maschines for cyclists and pedestrians, which are arranged around central installation box.

Zasnova - simboli

Vpetost v mestni kontekst

Časovna faza razvoja

Razpoka_ simbolno predstavlja rano/ bolečino v družbi in srcih posameznikov.

Je razpotje in ovira, je prelomnica in hkrati upanje za začetek nečesa novega, boljšega, lepšega...

Triglav_ najvišji vrh slovenskih gora “pod” katerim leži domovina vseh Slovenk in Slovencev. Je prvovrsten ponos in simbol slovenskega naroda...

Premirje > mir_ premirje povezujemo s prenehanjem sovražnosti nasprotujočih si strani, posledica česar je mir, temeljna vrednota razvite družbe. Je obdobje brez prepirov in nasprotovanj, obdobje sožitja in sobivanja...

Analiza pokaže, da Kongresni trg oblikuje sklenjen niz stavbnih fasad, kjer pa poleg cestne infrastrukture izstopa vrzel nedefiniranega “Južnega trga”, kjer so danes garaže ter razni spremljevalni objekti. Obstoječa urbanistična “luknja” predstavlja del nedokončane okolice in zaključene celote Kongresnega trga.

Faza 1 predstavlja ožje območje urejanja, glede na razpis tako imenovano spomeniško območje.

Ideja predstavlja prvo fazo razpoke,torej ko se le ta pojavi. Oblikuje se osrednji spomeniški prostor s spomenikom in okoliškim parkom. Zaradi obstoječih objektov v atriju stavbnega bloka, povezava s Knafljevim prehodom v tej fazi ni mogoča.

Začasno je postavljena vertikalna kulisa/stena, ki zakriva pogled na obstoječe nekvalitetne objekte. Zaključek osrednjega dela/razpoke pa tvorijo stopnice, ki obiskovalca popeljejo v parkovni del in hkrati služijo posedanju in druženju.

Zasnova - ideja Razpoka tvori nepravilne trikotnikom podobne linije. V njih je opaziti stilizirano silhueto Triglava, ki predstavlja simbol slovenskega naroda in domovine.

Faza 2 zajema celotni “Južni trg” in tvori povezavo s Knafljevim prehodom. Ideja predstavlja razpoko v drugi fazi, torej ko se le ta razširi. Oblikuje se park/trg, ki povezuje Kongresni trg in Knafljev prehod.

Začasne rešitve faze 1 se odstrani, razpoka/pot se nadaljuje vse do Knafljevega prehoda. Razpoka ustvari osrednji otok in parkovne elemente levo in desno od poti.

Osrednji otok se variantno lahko tlakuje ali pa ostane ozelenjen in predstavlja oder. Na levem delu trga je oblikovana tribuna, desni del pa predstavlja zeleno kuliso pred slepimi fasadami obstoječih stavb.

Z dvigom sredinskega trikotnika iz terena v tretjo dimenzijo se ustvari skulptura, ki simbolno predstavlja vrh najvišje slovenske gore.

Triglav + razpoka = domovina leži pod Triglavom GSPublisherEngine 0.0.100.100

“Spoj dveh vrhov domovine” predstavlja mir/premirje, ki zavlada po vojni.

Velikost in masa spomenika pa vzbudita čustva spoštovanja in narodnega ponosa.

Spomenik je monumentalni portal in fasada v enem, ki dokončno sklene niz stavbnih fasad in ustvari transparenten volumen, ki “diha” pa vendar oblikuje linijo, ki zaključi urbanistični in vizualni manjko Kongresnega trga. Hkrati je portal postavljen v historično os Vegove ulice in Kongresnega trga.

Kongresni trg z novim volumnom in zapolnitvijo vrzeli dobi zaključeno podobo pomembnega trga v prestolnici. Ustvari se navidezna meja med dvema ambientoma, ki pa je fizično povsem prehodna. Stebri v višini venca sosednjih stavb tvorijo vhodni portal v spomeniški park. Preplet stebrov in dreves pa ustvari volumenski odnos v prostoru.

Variantnost

Osrednji otok parka/trga ima variantne rešitve. Lahko je tlakovan ali pa ozelenjen.
