Having the opportunity to spend a week with solicitors at Blake Morgan has been a fantastic experience enabling me to really think about my future career. I’m sure the week will stand me in good stead when considering future career options.” Joanna Rees, a Partner with Blake Morgan explains: “Social mobility in the UK continues to lag behind other nations and whilst recent records indicate that youth unemployment is falling, young people continue to face increasing difficulties to get on the employment ladder. Since its inception, interest in the scheme has grown and we are delighted that Growing Ambitions provides an interesting and motivating experience for young people.” Elaine Ballard, Chief Executive of Taff Housing Association said: “Programmes like ‘Growing Ambitions’ expand the horizons of the young people taking part, and give them career goals to motivate them.
