BEDROOM SUITE
MINIMAL + DRAMATIC – For a ‘State of the Art Aesthetics’ (Academic project)
Fabrics in gray accents, storage in monotones and pale whites – sing in perfect harmony to the tune of modernism. The calm the space evokes makes it ideal to relax and reflect in. The colors are delicate yet powerful, luxurious yet informed, defining a neutral story. The soothing color and lights gives a feeling of cool and calm. The floor to ceiling window lets in ample light during the day-time. Recessed ceiling lights, LEDs, pendant cones and table lamps gives the space an overall accentuated look and fulfills the requirement of accent lighting.

MEETING ROOM

The mix of grays and pale browns gives a high-end experience with delicate tones and luxuriant textures and transform the space into a sophisticated beauty; a contemporary minimalism blended with abstract décor. A sophisticated theme with a touch of modern elegance and luxury. The use of contrasting combination of bold colors and delicate tones such as heavy blues, grey accents with calming glossy whites gives a high-end experience. Dramatic wall graphics with mood lighting & the carpet tile texture with grey hues works well in contrast with the furniture elevating aesthetics of the room. False ceiling with cove lighting & suspended pendant lights accentuates the overall look.

Wooden textures with blue hues and polished vitrified tiles evokes the spark of the space giving a luxurious effect. The color tones are somewhat contrastive yet complementary. The lighting illuminates the entire area and highlightes specific spaces wherever needed. The plywood on partition walls acts as a contrastive and an aesthetic element as well. The surfaces are finished with gloss and semi-gloss materials making the spaces feel spacious.

CAFETERIA DESIGN
(Internship project) Site : Mavenir Office Design, DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon-Haryana
A Retro color scheme used to create a vintage feel complemented with distinctive characteristics. The use of various shapes in lighting as well as wall graphics, a combination of rough, smooth & glossy textures works as an expression of contradiction. The muted tones, yet dramatic, could help to work up an appetite and a great way to sit back and relax in a neutral embrace that transforms into a warm and congenial space. The finish of the countertops and glam lighting with bold abstract prints on the walls offers a clean canvas for sharing a medley of meals. Exposed brickwork on walls, wooden textures on columns, the metal grid ceiling hung from the top lined with linear LED lights, complemented with suspended circular pendants & wall sconces emphasizes the eating space. The interior is intended to exude a quiet and carefree energy, rendering a space that could make it ideal to relax and reflect in. 07

RECEPTION
(Internship project) Site : Mavenir Office Design, DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon-Haryana
The color combination of blue and red was the base of the theme. The mix of warm and cool colors somewhat created a complementary theme. The color theme deliberately matches with the company logo to give the reception area a distinctive feel and idea of the brand and to make the clients or customers a reminisce of the place. These saturated warm colors (red) evoke a feeling of activity and passion. On the other hand, cool colors such as ‘blue’ is associated with calm, harmony and peace. The mix of these hues would influence the required emotions in a hectic workspace area. The ‘Red’ hue was reduced a bit because it captures attention and sometimes is too bright for the eye, therefore there is only a hint of it in some areas.

The furniture was kept minimal with wooden textures for the reception desk. Most of the surfaces had a ‘reflective glossy finish’ which renders elegance and a sense of spaciousness. The lighting was integrated with a gypsum grid false ceiling for the reception. Recessed and pendent cone light fixtures for the desk and LED linear strip lights running along the edges patently.

WORKSTATIONS
(Internship project) Site : Mavenir Office Design, DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon-Haryana
The workstation area was supposed to be based on the main color theme. There were hints of warm and cool hues in different elements of the space such as the columns were cladded with ‘Blue dome’ glossed laminate with integrated LED strip lights to make them more prominent. Similarly the ‘Pure red’ hue was imbibed in the office chair fabric to make them stand out and match the theme. The base color was ‘Sonnet’ to create more spaciousness and visibility.
11
Layered with faint offwhite carpet tile, the floor gives a warm welcoming vibe to the employees. The dropped ceiling is a glowing cross-hatched pattern of LED lights illuminating the whole area. The long lines makes the space look even more free and accessible. One could see individual elements from far off. They also work as leading line all along the passages. The workstations are covered in glossy surfaces, easy to clean and work on. As a whole, the workspace meets the requirements of the color theme, circulation, and is efficient in terms of spaciousness, accessibility and visibility 12
MEDITATION & YOGA CENTER

The concept is primarily based on the composition and arrangement of spatial geometries rendering composite shapes and structures that exhibit stability and spaciousness. For extensive yogic and meditative practices, the center requires convergent and divergent focusses for collaborative and isolated activities, respectively. The use of these geometries in combination with natural materials like wood, stone, glass, concrete, etc., will exude a sense of vast and relaxing atmosphere which will enhance and facilitate meditative & yogic practices.

All the landscape features are in harmony with one another. The use of soft pastel shades in hardscapes along with the natural shades of softscape constitutes a pleasant cultural space. It allows the visitors and customers to enjoy a wide variety of sensory experiences. The combination of these materials stimulates the senses. Sensory garden and water bodies have been provided at designated areas for individual and group meditation activities. Areas have been provided with wooden benches surrounded by lawns and hedges.
