AvaraTaide is a non-profit making association established by a group of visual artists in 2008.

Our purpose is to enliven and expand the art life in Tampere and surroundings. There are 35 artist members in AvaraTaide.


AvaraTaide supports member artists in their work by organizing group exhibitions and different art projects in Gallery Ronga. The association also seeks co-operation with artist groups, associations and institutions both in Finland and abroad.

AvaraTaide runs a atmospheric art gallery called Gallery Ronga. It´s located in the centre of Tampere, near to Tammerkoski channel and the railway station. Gallery Ronga offers changing art exhibitions from talented artists, both members and non-members of AvaraTaide, and from all fields of art. It´s also possible to rent the gallery for art projects and other happenings.
