What are complementary angles?

When the sum of two angles is 90 degrees, then the two angles are said to be complementary to each other.

Example –

In the image above, if we add 60 degrees and 30 degrees, we will form an angle that is 90 degrees. Therefore, these angles are said to be complementary angles.

What are supplementary angles?

When the sum of two angles is 180 degrees, then the two angles are said to be supplementary to each other.
