"Spatia l Acoustical Generator" explores these issues, using dark rooms to limit the viewer's vision, rectangular corridors and fenced Spaces with eight sets of reflected laser to guide the flow of people. When a viewer walks in and block the laser beam with them body, the space itself changes and eight surrounding speakers are triggered. These randomly played sound clips are played from all sides, and the space that shaped by sound and light changes when the audience moves through the corridor. Each aspectant speaker plays two sets of audio with an intertextual relationship, such as the human genome sequence (ATCG) and computer binary encoding(0101) infants

# Project Background

There are a lot of energy or signals in space that

humans can hardly perceive, heat, wind, electromagnetic wave, radio signals, all like layers in these different dimensions . In a bedroom, the difference in temperature between the window and the air conditioner creates a downward stream of cold air, which is another kind of dynamic space that we ignore. Human being can't hear a wider range of sounds like elephants and dolphins, can't see a broader range of light like birds and snakes, and can only perceive the world through our limited senses. But these Spaces truly exist,

Concept of project

This is a three-dimensional forest in a noisy city, and a cultural museum open to all races gender and classes, with democratizing art exhibitions, nonGraded Graded

decentralized cultural events.You can meet all kinds of friends here. Every tree in a natural forest is completely different, but humans do cut them into homogeneous wood. Like every human being with a different characteristic, society unconsciously molds them into similar personalities.

Therefore, I hope to use the form of each tree, from the first to the fifth floor, the pillars of each floor are that from curved to straight ,from long to short, from thick to thin, and gradually bifurcate. From a uniform network of square columns, each floor is slightly offset until the highest level, where the number of columns is doubled, the position of pillars distribution is completely organic. By numbering the timbers in this order and assembling them in their respective positions in the building, each column has its own ID, so that no identical structure can be found in the blur forest.

Every time I take a train, I buy a seat near the window, watching the fleeting scenery outside , the high-speed moving railroad tracks and signal towers nearby, the mountains and villages in the distance, and the slowly setting sun. Perhaps this is my most recent but most unfamiliar impression of the village. In this information explosion, the rapid development of science and technology society,the Internet is not only eroding everyone's spiritual space, but also invading the land like a colonial. From the cellular phone in the 1G era, to the era of PHS, the 3G technology and social networking popularized by major operators, to the short video software that became popular in 4G, and even to the current Internet of Things led by 5G. Information technology provides a possibility to connect time and space, but with it comes increasingly dense signal towers and infrastructure, as well as individuals trapped in information cocoons and collective unconsciousness.

Project Statement

Signal towers are like scattered points connecting the space, 15 meters, 25 meters, and 40 meters. They are particularly conspicuous in the village. Instead of tall buildings, they are scattered evenly on the edge of the village along the railway. We imagine that in the future, when technology develops to a certain extent, these signal towers or power grids lose their original purpose, and what will happen to their fate. Can it be reused? Can it help the village? What is the fate of those outdated communication equipment? What inspiration can it provide people? We have transformed five modular signal towers to provide the village with new types of space, exhibition, reading, and communication. We hope that it can be used as a container to store the memories of different eras. Perhaps the village exists as a temporary dislocation of the era. Being backward may just provide a place for human beings to stop expansion and rethinking.
