You know, Inspirational, Inc. is kind of the umbrella company for the ministries I oversee. My passion is helping others to find their gifts and talents their “calling” so to speak and then giving them the tools to follow that calling with purpose and passion and kind of become a difference maker. My main ministry is called Tea with Chantel and, as you said, I think it starts with a cup of tea and grows into a community. Basically, it means that when we invest in a person and get to know them one on one we create relationships and then one cup of tea turns into another and pretty soon we have a community. Community, I think, is really important for our success. I think people thrive and become difference makers in the community, we need to surround ourselves with others and serve others. I serve others in about five different communities through speaking, and consulting and workshops. The first is the military community of course and as a military wife I have moved, lived and traveled all over the country so I have a passion and a heart for it. I love to serve that community. My second community is moms and I have three kids. My oldest just turned 14 a week ago, and I have a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old.

So, kind of spread out, and I love to serve moms at all levels. But, currently, I've been working with a lot of mom’s in the middle of motherhood that are with schoolage kids trying to find their career and find their purpose and passion as their kids move on to different endeavors. I do this through life and career coaching. And, I just love serving that community. The third community is the education community. I am a Professor in the Communication and Business department. I do a lot of speaker training symposiums and success seminars. I enjoy that avenue. The fourth community is the youth community and this I believe is really an underserved community. I have a heart for pouring into the youth and really helping them find who they're going to be, what their passion and purpose is. You know this is our future and we really need to invest in our youth. So, I love serving that community. The final community is business professionals who would like to find their authentic voice. I am a speech coach.

How did you get started doing this? How did you catch the bug?

We have traveled and moved all over this country.
