01 ARCH: House Location: Year: Mentor:
Ustanicka 64, B elgrade, Serbia fall 2015 Dr Vanja Panic
This project aims to rejuvenate the area alongside busy street Despota Stefana Prvovencanog with residential: mainly single-family houses; and commercial uses. The idea was to create highly defined urban lines of housing with greenary to decrease or totally eliminate the noise polluted area. Connecting the area with the existing city and continuing the main existing directions on site are also key factors. Second part of project is design of one family house. The idea was to create a house with not only residential function but with space intended for small entrepreneurship or work. House is designed for an architect with possibility of possessing his own studio. Model

Student work - Studio M03 Belgrade, Serbia winter 2019 Dejan Miljkovic
Student work - Studio M03 Faculty of Architecture | University of Belgrade Aquatectorium is a newly composed word that can describe a place, a building, an installation inspired by water. Today, rarely does anyone experience water in the right way, it is not known which way is right, however, beings are really not aware of its existence, being, its overall significance, from the organism to nature. They are not aware of its power, flow, or peace, composure. And they don’t pay enough attention to it. Why don’t people appreciate it? We drink water every day, take a shower, swim in the sea in summer, play in the snow in winter. That is why the aquatorium is a water labyrinth, in which intuition, courage, and most importantly synesthesia and perception of
water are necessary - for all the senses of the subject. The subject in the labyrinth recognizes water that has the ability to metamorphose, to move from one state of matter to another, to reshape. The goal of the labyrinth is not to restrain the subject in any way (even seemingly, due to its structure), but to guide the subject through its world and its hedonistic journey. The goal is to enable the user to know “self”, the relationship with water, its beauty and art, the existence and importance of water - the basic element of life.

05 Little Prince Category: Location: Year:
Hotel apartment Kopaonik, Serbia 2020
Freelance job - completed Considering the apartment was for renting, owners wanted new design in Scandinavian style. The apartment is 28 m2, and north oriented, so it was necessary to light up the space. The project was completed in January, with delays due to limited budget. Color palette for the design follows the apartment’s “brand” based on a novella “The Little Prince”with gentle rose touch.

Competition Bijelo Polje, Montenegro 2020 Tamara Kenic, Aleksa Grgurovic
NDP competition - Innovation challenge: reuse of U the Cerovo military complex This competition set a goal for architects to find innovative ideas and ways to promote culture and creativity through the reconstruction of ex military complex ,,Cerovo”. Among the photographs provided to us, there was one that stimulated our creative drive. The warm colors of the autumn forest and the cool blues of snow create the perfect balance comparable to the balance of the passionate heat of creation and coldness of the flow of time. We decided to preserve all the existing buildings and to remodel them for future use. We wanted to design warm interior spaces fit for many creative minds. We imagined them like miniature forges full of creative energy.

On the other side, we imagined outside spaces as constant flux. We wanted those places to bring people in and to traverse them to the interiors. We designed those spaces to be pleasant but not to pleasant, as we did not want for them to become the focal point of our design. The exterior spaces should be transitional zone that would keep the constant flow of people and ideas. In that way, the energy of whole complex would never go stale and would always change, as such is the nature of creative industries.

Competition Bijelo Polje, Montenegro 2021 Aleksa Grgurovic Tamara Kenic, Luka Krznaric
This competition provided us with multiple challenges that shaped our design philosophy and influenced the final product. First challenge was the location of our square. Through our analyses of the site, we have concluded that objects that surround our site are mostly unpreserved and ruined, as seen on the map on the right. We have created three zones in accordance to their values: the deconstruction zone, the reconstructions zone, and the zone of newly created values. The deconstruction zone represents the object we would remove from the site. Those objects are some totally ruined family houses and the small casino that is currently present at the square. 3D Model: Rhinoceros | Render: Twinmotion

th proposed furniture
The reconstructions zone consists mainly of the rest of family houses and of the railway station. Family houses represent the years of neglect and fairly bad or lack of planning and building policies. They are of low value and in the future should be reconstructed, as we would like to avoid their total removal. Our suggestion is the renewal of their facades and street paving using the local stone, as seen on the masonry of the walls of Jusovača jail. That way historical value would be renewed and new ambient values would be created. Examples of practices like this are nothing new in the world and are even present in Podgorica in Stara Varoš part of the town. We suggest total renewal of the main railway station, but we also suggest construction of a new double green facade. We designed this façade using principles of parametric design. It would be made of light but durable material such as titanium or carbonfiber, and fully enveloped by green vines and other scaling plants. In that way, we would provide new and improved look to the existing building, as well as new visual, but also microclimate and ecological values.
Thank you
