01 Fashion app Location: Year: Mentor: Category: Software:

Belgrade, Serbia 2021 self initiation Clothing retail Figma

This project Silkies is a self initiated application, side project for fashion design. Project is taken after self taught course of Figma software. The inspiration for this design is SILK MAISON fashion company, which currently does not have its own application except for the website. This version of the application represents a modern redesign of the logo and the creation of a new visual identity suitable for a fashion company. 02 Oh crack game Location: Year: Mentors: Category: Software:

FILUM, University of Kragujevac, Serbia spring 2020 Nemanja Dragojlović, Lazar Dimitrijević Gaming AutoCad, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Seeking for advantures never ends! “Oh crack” is a strategic video game for mobile devices, whose world is based on stories and characters from the Arctic. Like many other strategy games, Oh crack is based on building facilities (igloos), expanding resource fields, creating tribes, and working to solve community problems. Players show their ability to play by crossing tasks and levels. Each “upgrade” unlocks new units and technologies (adapted environment) to the player that strengthen his/her “village”. Upgrading requires a certain payment or use of resources, as well as buildings that need to be built in order to move to the next level. The player can earn extra points when passing tasks or side missions. The target group is people aged 12+. The Eskimo named Hiti is located in a rugged area in the north, in the Arctic, and belong to the Inuit tribe. The job of the Eskimos, the hero of the story, is to build a home and go hunting and fishing to save his family. However, with the emerging global warming, Hiti will later face a new problem through the game - saving the community from cracks and melting the glacier on which it lives. At the beginning of the game, Hitti would go over tasks to build his igloo and later build his settlement and make a community. The game might become interactive, where the player can collaborate with other players to create an “upgraded” settlement, communicate with other tribes to work together on a strategy to keep the island and their home afloat. Software used to realize graphic displays: AutoCad, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

The name “Oh crack” refers to an exclamation or saying, when cracks appear due to global warming and warming of glaciers in the game. The logo represents floating icebergs on the ocean. Graphic part involves modifying the bold decorative typographic letter “Showcard Gothic” which contributes to the fullness of the letters by representing icebergs. The next step is to 2D break down the letters into smaller pieces to conjure up cracks and tear the snow. Also assigning a context (water) that outlines and rounds the logo and simultaniously accent the story in the background. At the very end, a 3D effect was done to give the logo “depth” by enhancing the floating effect.

For the main communication in the game (notifications, submenus), the condensed font “Economica” was chosen as a contrast to the letter used during the creation of the logo. This font is not a typical, neutral sans-serif font. The advantage of this font is that it is not offensive and intrusive, but thinner, readable. It is easily adaptable, and does not lose readability when narrowing the distance between units. For the logo, as previously explained, the letter “Showcard Gothic” was used. This font would not be acceptable for further use in the game due to its stronger (bold) characteristics because the emphasis is on the actors in the game.

Igloo - building / home of eskimos for which the player collects resources.

Hiti - Eskimo tribe Inuit / main character of the game

The path / trail that the player must make in order to access the map, buildings and landscapes.

Indication menu - stamina and the number of coins that the player uses in the game

Glaciers / icebergs - a resource needed to build igloo.

Fish, part of the hunt mission - collecting food assets for the player

When we think of ice, snow and northern landscapes, we get images of a cold area. Therefore, the primary colors in the graphics are cold tones: from light (glaciers, buildings, raw materials, cracks) to dark shades of blue (background, ocean). Also, the palette is a gray scale - where the dominant color is white (not the color of snow) and the glacier that forms the map of the game. In order to soften the overall cold visual display, as a contrast, there is a secondary palette consisting of warm shades: skin tones, yellowish tones, apricot shades, darker tones of the hero’s clothes, tools in the game and the present animal world.

04 Food delivery app Location: Year: Mentor: Category: Software:

Belgrade, Serbia spring 2015 Jelena Zivkovic Food delivery app Pencil project

Back at my studies, as a student of architecture, I always looked for inspiration in new things that would encourage me to work on design, whether it is architecture or product design, 3D modeling. Living in a dormitory, with a lack of food delivery in the area and applications themselves, I came up with the idea to try to design an application that would be useful for students in the months when the canteen is closed. It was a mini project, an addition to the design projects from the faculty which tackled issues of residential “futuristic” approach of flexible living.

05 Jazz Centre Location: Year: Mentor: Ass:

Gosposvetska cesta, Ljubljana, Slovenia spring 2018 Dr Milan Maksimovic Nikola Milanovic

The idea of this project is to make unobtrusive spatial structure that will enable its users to find themselves in a similar society and to enjoy the music, work and ambience of the city. The project is represented by two separate units that make up the Jazz Center and the business complex. The business unit has an elevated public space at the height of the first floor, a platform with various services for companies that work there, as well as pedestrian space for other users. From the platform it is possible to access business facilities that rise above it, while the ground floor is activated by commercial facilities. The second separate unit consists of the Jazz Center with a concert hall in the underground floors, while on the upper floors there are accompanying spaces such as workshops, spaces for practice, exhibition spaces etc. This building has an open ground floor and an open amphitheater used in steppnes of the terrain and is a part of a public square.

06 AQUATECTORIUM Location: Year: Mentor: Ass:

Gosposvetska cesta, Ljubljana, Slovenia spring 2018 Dr Milan Maksimovic Nikola Milanovic

Aquatectorium is a newly composed word that can describe a place, a building, an installation inspired by water. Today, rarely does anyone experience water in the right way, it is not known which way is right, however, beings are really not aware of its existence, being, its overall significance, from the organism to nature. They are not aware of its power, flow, or peace, composure. And they don’t pay enough attention to it. Why don’t people appreciate it? We drink water every day, take a shower, swim in the sea in summer, play in the snow in winter. That is why the aquatorium is a water labyrinth, in which intuition, courage, and most importantly synesthesia and perception of water are necessary - for all the senses of the subject. The subject in the labyrinth recognizes water that has the ability to metamorphose, to move from one state of matter to another, to reshape. The goal of the labyrinth is not to restrain the subject in any way (even seemingly, due to its structure), but to guide the subject through its world and its hedonistic journey. The goal is to enable the user to know “self”, the relationship with water, its beauty and art, the existence and importance of water the basic element of life.
