DOWNTOWN COUNTDOWN AT GLAZER CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Dec. 31, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Ring in the New Year at the Glazer Children’s Museum with countdowns, family play projects and socially distant celebrations throughout the day. Dec. 31, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Kids don’t have to miss out on the big countdown just because of bedtime! The family can ring in 2022 early with a lemonade toast every hour on the hour during the event. Then stay and play at the Zoo! zootampa.org

DOWNTOWN TAMPA NEW YEAR'S EVE FIREWORKS CRUISE

Dec. 31, 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. | Say “Bon Voyage” to 2021 on a Yacht StarShip New Year’s Eve Fireworks Cruise! This all-inclusive festive cruise is the best way to celebrate NYE on the water. Tickets include a 2-hour cruise (with 30 minutes dockside afterward), open bar, hand passed hors d’oeuvres, gourmet food stations, carving stations, hand passed desserts, party favors, DJ entertainment and a champagne toast at midnight. $149.95 per person.

OUTBACK BOWL NEW YEAR’S EVE PARADE

Dec. 31, Parade begins at 5:30 p.m. | Eclectic Ybor City is the site of this festive celebration featuring the Outback Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade and a pep rally. The parade will feature floats and marching bands including the two college bands! The Pep Rally features a battle of the bands and cheerleaders from both universities. The Parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs along 7th Avenue.

PINT-SIZED NOON YEAR’S EVE AT LARGO CENTRAL PARK PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Dec. 31, 10:30 a.m. | This daytime event is designed just for kids 6 and younger with music, crafts and more. The center will provide party blowers for tots to celebrate. Cost is $6 per child before Dec. 26 and $8 after Dec. 26. playlargo.com LEGOLAND FLORIDA: KIDS’ NEW YEAR’S EVE

Dec. 31, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. | Celebrate New Year’s Eve with friends and family and indulge in some excitement at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Explore all of your Christmas Town favorites, enjoy thrill rides in the dark and catch the fireworks show in Gwazi Park after the park-wide countdown. This NYE Celebration is included with theme park admission. Exact details for NYE are TBD, but Christmas Town dates for 2021 are Nov. 12 to Jan. 2.

FIRST NIGHT ST. PETE 2022

Dec. 31, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. | Join the fun at First Night St. Pete’s Annual New Year’s Eve celebration of the Arts! Performers range from musicians to dance and aerial performances to interactive art. Check out this year's performers, times and tickets at firstnightstpete.com.
