RAYMOND JAMES STADIUM

Raymond James Stadium opened on September 20, 1998. After almost 21 years and countless events and NFL games, including hosting two Super Bowls in 2001 and 2009, a comprehensive renovation of Raymond James Stadium began in 2016. The multi-stage renovation plan is expected to exceed $180 million. The first stage was completed prior to the Buccaneers’ 2016 season and was highlighted by the installation of state-of-the-art HD video boards and four HD tower video displays. Also included were two HD ribbon boards, a distributed sound system and the renovation of all luxury suites, including development of the Hall of Fame Club.

THE OUTBACK BOWL IS AN ANNUAL COLLEGE FOOTBALL BOWL GAME THAT IS PLAYED ON NEW YEARS DAY, FEATURING TEAMS FROM THE SEC AND BIG 10 CONFERENCES. THE GAME IS A CULMINATION OF A WEEK-LONG SCHEDULE OF EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE TAMPA BAY AREA. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT WWW.OUTBACKBOWL.COM

Phase 2 was completed in 2017 with the complete renovation of the Hyundai West Club, which was made 25% larger giving it a capacity of 60,000 square feet, with 178 4K video monitors, HD video walls at each end and an LED ribbon board. A 10,000 square-foot team store and a new 18,000 square foot home locker room were also completed prior to the 2017 season. The final phase was completed prior to the 2018 season and featured a complete renovation of the East Club with a premium 10,000-square foot sports bar named Bar 76 — a reference to the team’s inaugural 1976 season. In addition to Bar 76, the new 64,000-square foot East Club includes two sleek bars and HD video walls at each end of the club lounge. Raymond James Stadium is not named for a public figure or sports legend, but rather a thriving, diversified financial services firm headquartered in St. Petersburg - Raymond James Financial. Raymond James is the official investment services and financial planning provider for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
